Lord is calling us to be contributors in
building His kingdom and not to be a consumer ( several years)

There are 3 types of Christians in this current
world,
§
Anjapar (அஞ்சப்பர் ) Christians (only for blessings - who
always expects something from the Lord and makes a deal. What I will get for me,
When I do this for Jesus or When I accept Jesus? They are only interested in
materialistic blessings and looking for Jesus to achieve that worldly desires).
Preacher named them as Anjapar Christians bz they have expectation always, that
maybe food\ clothes \ shelter \ Promotion
& etc
(Biblical Analogy: 5000 men took part in the lunch
when Jesus did a miracle with 5 loafs and 2 Fish. All heard Jesus preaching,
but how many of them obeyed to His Word? Not
all. Those who didn’t obeyed but had a free lunch fall in this category)

Auto Driver(ஆட்டோ டிரைவர்) Christians (Serves the Lord with Hidden
agendas - Who always does something for the Lord by realizing His Love but
finally they also set some expectations.
(Biblical reference: Like Peter asks the lord we left
all and followed you Lord;
Worldly analogy: auto driver pleads for extra money
when he drops at the door step)

Adiradi (அதிரடி )Christians (Zeal and passion to Proclaim
with an unconditional Love) Who has a Zeal and Passion for Christ to do His
will without any expectation and always asks for His will to be done.
(Biblical Analogy:
Saul become Paul)
(Worldly Ref: China was a tough place to sow a seed
for the kingdom of God in early 1800 AD. But few stepped in and during
1800-1900 AC they introduced Jesus to only 100 people. Later new strategy was
made to proclaim the gospel based on their cultural backgrounds and values. During
1900-1950 around 700,000 people was turned to the Lord. Now it is about 100
times higher than count. All these people who ministered fall in the Adiradi
Christians.)
§
We may fall in the 1st or in the 2nd
category but should die in the 3rd category. Grow in faith and shine
for the Lord.

What
causes us to mess up in our life?
§
There are 2 common errors People make
1.
Forced Errors (not fall in our circle of
control. We are forced to do when we are pressurized)
2.
Unforced Errors ( Even though we have the choice
to make decision, when we approach it with our own, without seeking Lord we
commit this error)
·
Unforced errors are the Errors, we all make when
we got stuck in our life. If we analyse we can understand it was not God’s plan
but bz of our attempts to find solutions put us in to that trap.

BE CAREFUL WITH THE PEOPLE YOU ALLEGIANCE WITH

Jehoshaphat joined affinity with Ahab (2 Chronicles
18:1-3)
o
Even though he had a bad experience in the past
during wars he didn’t learn from his mistakes. Repeated the same mistake again
foolishly.
o
Everyone makes mistakes, but only foolish
repeats it. Learn from your mistakes.
o
We all are doing well, not because of our own
talents or because of our friendship networks we have but By the Grace of Our
heavenly Father.

Repent When you are in the wrong track
o We
should not be blaming God for all our worries today ( Proverb 19:3 A person's own folly leads to their ruin, yet
their heart rages against the LORD.)
o Don’t
rationalize by blaming God for all you problems.
o 2
Kings 3:9 (King of Judah, King of Israel and King of Edom went against King of
Moab without seeking God; They were marching towards the problem assuming that
they have a solution but the solution they have found was so dangerous then
their original problem; They were about to die during their journey without water.
o The
best decision Jehoshaphat took is to ask the prophet of the Lord which saved
them. ( turn to the Lord when you are in trouble and surrender before Him)
o Lord
gave them a simple solution not only for their survival in the forest but also
to conquer their enemies as one package.
o It
was not an easy job to make that valley full of ditches when they were thirsty
for 7 days but they obeyed without asking question which gave them solution for
their survival. Their own solution for resolving the problem(Moab) invited another
problem ( no water for cattle and Men)
o God’s
solution was simple but resolved both their problems (Read 2 kings chapter 3).
They came with empty hands and went back after a victory with empty hands.
Conclusion:
Our troubles today is because of
foolishness and the best way to react is to repent to the Lord and seek His
direction by a total surrender. Yes, Step in with a Faith and Lord can do
wonders.
